Two Onaqui bachelor stallions in the Great Basin Desert of Utah
It doesn’t cost a thing, but can mean everything. Who hasn’t reveled in that simple joy of someone showing you a kindness ? It can change your entire day and sometimes, your life. When I came across this photo from last June, all I could think was if I had to define kindness with a photograph of wild horses, this is it.

This wild Onaqui black stallion is known as Eclipse. He was captured in the July roundup, but was one of the lucky ones to be released back to his home to roam free. I’m not sure who his friend is or his status, I only hope he also is free, as all wild things should forever be.
